Notes

Lead vocals - Weir.

Probably a traditional song reworked by Ma Rainey in 1925 and recorded as See See Rider Blues. Many recordings since then with some title variations - the commonest titles in use being C C Rider and See See Rider.

Many recent versions of the song are indebted to Chuck Willis who updated and recorded the song 1957. He is sometimes included in the writing credits for the song.
